Susan Smith Jones, PhD Recommends Handy Pantry Sprouting
I will always be grateful to my grandmother for teaching me how to grow sprouts when I was a teenager. Ever since, it’s been my passion and joy to grow and harvest fresh sprouts a couple times weekly. During any week, you will find a variety of sprouts growing in the corner of my kitchen that I consume and also share with family, friends and clients.
I always get my organic sprouting seeds and sprouting supplies from Handy Pantry — the premier sprouting company in the United States. If you are new to sprouting, I recommend their 3-Jar Super Sampler Seed Sprouting Jar Kit or their Basic Sprout Growing Kit. Also, their Deluxe Sprout Kit makes a fantastic gift for someone who is keen on sprouting.
You can’t go wrong with any of the Handy Pantry’s organic sprouting seeds. My favorites include the following: Red Clover, Broccoli, Sunflower, Alfalfa, Red Lentil, Fenugreek, Green Peas, Mung Beans, 3-Part Salad Sprouts Mix (Alfalfa, Broccoli & Radish), 5-Part Salad Sprout Mix (Mung, Lentil, Alfalfa, Broccoli & Radish), Bean Salad Sprouts Mix (Adzuki, Mung, Green Lentil & Radish), and Protein Powerhouse Mix (Adzuki, Garbanzo, Mung & Green Peas).
I also highly recommend the Handy Pantry’s Microgreens Kits, Seeds & Growing Supplies, as well as their Herb Kits. Your entire family, including the kids, will love participating in growing sprouts, herbs and greens. You can’t go wrong with any of these healthful foods and you will see your health soar when you start growing these delicious, nutritious foods in your kitchen.
